Description
Dive Log is designed to work either as your primary SCUBA diving logbook application or in conjunction with compatible 3rd party desktop logbook applications. You can use Dive Log at the dive site or on the dive boat to capture the information about the site while it is fresh in your mind (or your dive guide's mind). You can even capture the GPS coordinates of the dive site using the built in location services of your iOS device. Details about your actual dive can be added immediately after your dive or at the après dive event and later be saved to your desktop computer. The dive buddy feature is fully integrated with Contacts on your iPhone or iPad, letting you capture information about your newest dive buddy or quickly add an existing buddy to a particular dive. The dive data and statistics features let you have an immediate answer the next time your dive guide asks how much weight you used on your last dive or have all the information you need about your dive history when you fill out that next dive waiver. Metric and Imperial values are supported for all appropriate logbook fields. You can easily enter values using the appropriate units for the situation and view them in your preferred measurement system. Intervideo windvd 5 download. Exactly what I was looking for!
After trying out several applications on both iOS and PC, this is the one I use (along with Diving Log 6.0 on a Windows PC to capture my dive computer data). I love that I can start the log on my phone at the dive site in order to capture things like GPS location, info I want to remember, and a signature from a dive master or buddy, without having to manually enter any of the data that my computer automatically logs. Then, once I'm home, I download my computer to add the dive profile, temperatures, air consumption, etc. and merge the two sets of info together.
The statistics are really fun. Want to know how many times you've dove at your favorite spot or with a certain buddy? How many hours you spent underwater last October? Your deepest / longest / coldest dive? How many dives one of your exposure suits survived? The statistics feature can not only answer these questions, but will also link to each of the associated dives.
You can also use this app to keep track of all of your equipment, including pictures, serial numbers, warranty info, service schedules (with optional reminders), and it can track dive counts for each piece. It also stores certification info including images of C-cards.
Love this app!

Best Dive App
This is the best dive app out there. It does everything you need. I can download information directly from my dive computer and then easily add all the information I need. The only issue I have had is with pictures. The app allows to to take pictures within the app or add a picture from your computer or phone of dive equipment and dive sights. Some pictures added from my phone will not crop properly. Pictures taken from within the app can’t then be shared. This is a very minor issue. It would be nice if basic information about a dive could be shared among dive buddies. Don’t waste you time or money getting a different app. This is the one you have been looking for.
Dive Log Software Reviews
Super responsive developer
I have tried a couple electronic log books and this is my favorite by far, though I have been manually logging my dives as my old computer didn’t support downloads.
I recently bought a new computer (Aqualung i550C) and posted a note on the support forum asking if anyone had got Dive Log to work with it via Bluetooth download yet. The developer contacted me and within a couple days had a working beta of the software that supports my computer. Amazing! Thank you for a great product and top notch support.

A dive log is a record of the diving history of an underwater diver. The log may either be in a book, locally hosted software, or web based. The log serves purposes both related to safety and personal records. Information in a log may contain the date, time and location, the profile of the dive, equipment used, air usage, above and below water conditions, including temperature, current, wind and waves, general comments, and verification by the buddy, instructor or supervisor.
In case of a diving accident, it can provide valuable data regarding diver's previous experience, as well as the other factors that might have led to the accident itself. [1]
Recreational divers are generally advised to keep a logbook as a record, while professional divers may be legally obliged to maintain a logbook which is up to date and complete in its records. The professional diver's logbook is a legal document and may be important for getting employment. The required content and formatting of the professional diver's logbook is generally specified by the registration authority, but may also be specified by an industry association such as the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA).

- Verification - used to record the signature and certification details of the buddy / instructor that was with the diver during the dive.
A more minimalistic log book for recreational divers who are only interested in keeping a record of their accumulated experience (total number of dives and total amount of time underwater), could just contain the first point of the above list and the maximum depth of the dive.
